Time is up for these puppies - They will be put to Sleep!
Laporte Animal Shelter is filling right back up again. They had a little break, but now are overflowing with pups again. These dogs here have been at the shelter for 2-3 weeks at this point. THEIR TIME IS UP AND THEY WILL BE "PUT TO SLEEP" ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON!!! If you see one that you are interested in- PLEASE CALL ASAP!!!
MEG & MIA-
This is Meg and Mia. They are 4-5 month old Black (maybe mixes, Meg looks PB). They are gorgeous dogs with awesome personalities!! I wish I had got better pics of these two happy girls so you could see how pretty they really are! The pound is full and Meg and Mia have been there a couple of weeks. It's time for these 2 cutie girls to find their forever home!
SCOOBIE- This is Scoobie. He is about as cute at they come! He is a young black lab (might be a mix, but close)...around 8 months old. He is playful and friendly and super silly. He would love to have some kids in his new forever family!
GOLDIE- This is adorable Goldie. She is a little 8 month old shep mix with the most gorgeous color coat. She has one of the deepest barks I have heard on a dog. She was playful barking and I kept looking around to see where it was coming from- thinking no way is that coming from this little girl. :) She is precious with tons of personality! She is almost out of time!!
(I would love to adopt Goldie...but I have no where to keep her until we move into our house, May 1. I can't stand that she is going to die, along with the other pups.)
JERSEY- What a sweet girl she is. Jersey is a Mastiff/Pit Bull mix, not quite 2 years old yet. Her rotten owners bred her, kept the puppies and turned her into the pound. She has been at the shelter for a month!
MOLLY- Molly is a 4-5 month old boxer mix. She is darling and so, so sweet!! She has very pretty eyes, looks like she has eyeliner on! She would make a family very happy!!!
LAB/HOUND PUPPIES- This little group of 6 are about 10 weeks old and they look like they are mixed with a Hound of some sort since they have long ears. They are ADORABLE, super friendly and spunky and they need out of the pound in a very bad way. Males and females available.
There are many more VERY adoptable dogs at the Laporte Pound right now. These are the ones that need out most urgently. Please open your heart to foster one of these cuties. If you have been thinking about adopting, now is a great time!

They are closed on weekends, so adoptions must be during the week. They will meet rescue on weekends. Laporte is a kill shelter, so time is always crucial.
