Amber Hensarling, a member of the third year veterinary class, had three
loving cats that she left behind. Unfortunately, her family will not be
able to care for them because their existing pets will not tolerate new
additions. She adopted all three of them from the Brazos Animal Shelter
over a year ago because they were older cats that came from the same
household and Amber felt they needed to stay together and feared that no
one else would be willing to adopt them all together.
All three cats are domestic shorthair, stay indoors, and are neutered
and declawed. They range in age from about 4 to 6 years old. I have
records that indicate Bentley and Bogey are up to date on vaccinations
(Rabies and FVRCP) and have both tested FeLV/FIV negative as of November
2005. I believe Bart had an upper respiratory infection at the time
(which he has long since recuperated from) therefore testing and
vaccinating was delayed. They have food, a litter box with plenty of
litter (including one unopened bucket), as well as many toys that will
go along with them to their new home.
Please look at the attached pictures and forward this e-mail to anyone
who may be interested in these fantastic and laid back cats. If you are
interested please let me know by e-mail (LNBeckworth@cvm.tamu.edu) or
call me at 832-221-1730. Thank you for your time.
